So I am working on this website and I have no clue what I am doing! I read a ton of articles about the best website to use to start a blog. What was going to be the easiest? Which one could I learn to navigate the most quickly? Apparently the answer is NONE! I have read all the instructions, but they were not written for me. Let’s go back to the basics, kids. You’re dealing with a busy woman who is trying to learn a completely new skill. Remember in elementary school or middle school when you had to write step by step instructions about how to do something? That is what I need. It starts like this: “Get the jelly out of the refrigerator. Get the peanut butter out of the cabinet. Find the bread. Get out a butter knife.” Don’t assume I know anything.

I am hoping that I got the page changed so it is easier to navigate and easier to find my posts, but I’m not even convinced about that right now. Do I wish I had time to sit and figure this out? Absolutely! But I have an office and a house to clean out. I have a family and pets to care for. And if you read my “About me” page (don’t ask me where I to find it, I don’t know…), you know I am already overcommitted. But I really do want to work toward something different, so here I am.

Today may not be as much of a failure as I feel like it is. I like the new theme I have chosen, I just have to figure out how to make it look the way I want. I got some pictures put on the page that I really like. And it starts with one of my favorite quotes. So not everything was a failure and I will figure this out in time. Bear with me.
